Diamond
Steels will actually remove metal from the knife blade.

an edge on a knife that cannot be sharpened with a regular steel.
Before
using any Diamond Steel, you should wipe a light oil on the shaft.
When finished,
wash the steel with soap & water, then dry the steel. |

steel is made by using high carbon file steel which is hardened to 62-66 RC and
applying a coating of DeBeers Micron Plus SND Diamonds. The grit of this steel
is 20-25 Micron (600 Grit). Shank of the steel is 12" long, with a hard plastic
handle, with a hanger ring. |
